Biography

Fernando E. Vega received his Ph.D. in entomology from the University of Maryland in 1992. He is co-editor with Meredith Blackwell of Insect-Fungal Associations: Ecology and Evolution (Oxford University Press, 2005). He is a research entomologist at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Beltsville, Maryland. A coffee lover since his days in Puerto Rico, he is finishing a book titled Coffee: A Pictorial History.
