Eric LoewenBiography
Eric P. Loewen received his Ph.D. in nuclear engineering in 1999 from
the University of Wisconsin. He is the manager of the molten lead
cooled reactor project at the Idaho National Engineering and
Environmental Laboratory, undertaken in collaboration with the
Department of Nuclear Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology. In January he heads for Washington, D.C., to begin a
year learning firsthand about the policy process as the American
Nuclear Society's 2005 Glenn T. Seaborg Congressional Science and
