Edward O. WilsonBiography
Edward O. Wilson is professor and curator of entomology at the Museum of Comparative Zoology of Harvard University, which is also where he earned his Ph.D. He is a recipient of the National Medal of Science, the Crafoord Prize and two Pulitzer prizes; in 1997 he received Sigma Xi’s William Procter Prize for Scientific Achievement. He and fellow evolutionary biologist David Sloan Wilson recently collaborated on a major review article, “Rethinking the Theoretical Foundation of Sociobiology,” in the Quarterly Review of Biology.
