David NyeBiography
David E. Nye is a professor of history at Syddansk Universitet (SDU)
in Odense, Denmark. In 2005 he received the Leonardo da Vinci Medal
for his scholarship in the field of technological history. His books
include Electrifying America (MIT Press, 1990) and
Technology Matters: Questions to Live With (MIT Press,
2006). He is writing a social history of electrical blackouts.
