Biography

David E. Nye is a professor of history at Syddansk Universitet (SDU) in Odense, Denmark. In 2005 he received the Leonardo da Vinci Medal for his scholarship in the field of technological history. His books include When the Lights Went Out (The MIT Press, 2010) and Technology Matters: Questions to Live With (The MIT Press, 2006).
