Craig Hogan

Biography

Craig J. Hogan is a professor of physics and professor of astronomy at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he has also served as chair of astronomy, divisional dean for natural sciences and vice provost for research. His research centers on finding astrophysical and cosmological effects of new physics. As a member of the High-z Supernova Search Team, he was a co-discoverer of the cosmic acceleration caused by dark energy. He has studied cosmological gravitational-wave sources for more than 20 years and is currently a member of the LISA International Science Team.
