Colin Adams

Biography

Colin Adams is the Francis Oakley Third Century Professor of Mathematics at Williams College. Author of more than 30 research articles in knot theory and hyperbolic 3-manifolds, and of three books, he has had research support from the National Science Foundation for the past 13 years. He won the national Mathematical Association of America Teaching Award in 1998 and is currently a Sigma Xi Distinguished Lecturer.
